Drew W. Kmiecik Age 21, lost his courageous battle with Muscular Dystrophy on October 13, 2007. Drew was born August 8, 1986 in Howell, MI the son of Wayne and Marianne Kmiecik. Drew was a graduate of Whitmore Lake High School. He received a degree in Liberal Arts from Washtenaw Community College and was currently attending the University of Cincinnati studying Fire Science. His life was full. Drew was the Honorary Fire Chief at Northfield Twp. Fire Dept, a member of Kiwanis, Eagle Scout Troop 409, the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Assistant Troop master for Troop 409.
His Family…Beloved son of Wayne and Marianne, loving brother of Jordan and Meylin, dear grandson of Phyllis Shelters and Eugene Kmiecik and great grandson of Ida Shosey and Walter Kmiecik. His grandparents, Irving Shelters, Clarence Shosey, Joyce Kmiecik, Josephine Kmiecik and his uncle Jack Shosey preceded him in death.
