In her free time Wilma took pleasure in tending to her rose and vegetable gardens. She found joy in cooking meals for and entertaining beloved family and friends. During her retirement she sewed many beautiful quilts.
Wilma was a proud grandmother of Lauren Nirschl and her spouse Tyler Colbert, her grandsons, Patrick Nirschl, and Ethan, Caleb, and Elliot Jones. Wilma was preceded in death by her brothers and sister-in-law, Thomas and Myrtle Sutphin, Albert John Sutphin, Henry Sutphin, and her sisters and brother-in-law, Irene Hicks, Mary Lou Nelson, Ellen Sutphin, and Pete McCoy.
Wilma is survived by her sisters and brother-in-law, Rosa Lee and Gene Andrews, and Carrie Christine McCoy. Wilma had many nieces and nephews along with their families that she cared deeply for.
She will be dearly missed by those she left behind, her daughter and son-in-law, Karyn and David Nirschl, and her son and Daughter-in-law, Jeff and Melissa Jones along with the rest of her family will mourn her passing. We are all blessed to have the gift of Wilma in our lives.
A private service for the family will be held July 25th, 2022, at Montecito Memorial Park in Colton, California. The service will be officiated by Rev. Don Hinkle.
