Brenda Gayle (Nichols) Lee, 73, was born August 8, 1948, in Wagoner, OK to Richard and Margaret (Smalley) Nichols and peacefully passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
She lived in Muskogee most of her life, but lived the last two years in Fort Gibson, OK. Brenda worked for UPS as a Clerk for the last ten years before retiring.
Brenda loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play in all their activities. She loved working in her garden, playing golf, and a good game of poker. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is lovingly survived by her son, David A. Lee, II of Leavenworth, KS; daughter, Peggy Sparks and husband Greg of Fort Gibson, OK; granddaughters, Madison and Madelyn Cook of Fort Gibson, OK; grandson, Cash Sparks of Fort Gibson, OK; sister, Joyce Lawson and husband Ron of Wagoner, OK; brother, Jimmy French of Fort Gibson, OK; niece, Sunnye French of Fort Gibson, OK; nephews, Eslie Jordan of Fort Gibson, OK, David Lawson of Muskogee, OK and Tommy French of Fort Gibson, OK; extended family and many friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Richard Nichols; mother, Margaret French; stepdad, Jim French; and her twin sister, Linda Dale Griffith.
A visitation with family receiving friends will be held 2PM-4PM Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson. Brenda's celebration of life will be 10AM Monday, August 1, 2022, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Justin Kinman officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery with Greg Sparks, Cash Sparks, Jimmy French, Tommy French, Jacob Jimison and David Lee serving as casket bearers.
