Decatur ~ Sandra Lee "Maudie" Banks, 84, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Saturday, August 8, 2020 in Decatur, Texas.

Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Maudie was born September 2, 1935 to Clifton and Helen (Guisinger) Parker in Los Angeles, California. She married Hobert Lee Banks on October 12, 1951 in Pampa, Texas. They were married for 68 years.

Such a loving wife.

An amazing "Maudie", to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She had such an amazing soul , beautiful spirit, loving an forgiving heart. She was blessed with such talent , violin player, organ player, quilter ,she just full of many talents. She loved quilting , and created such beautiful work, so many memories left for us all to cherish.

Maudie you are the true bond to this family.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Hobert Banks of Decatur; daughter, Sherry Pearson of Lamesa; sons, Deryl Banks of Trophy Club, and Mark Banks and wife Tammy of Portland, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a brother; Deryl Parker of Katy; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
