Dan was bron to Earl Hulett and Georgia Elizabeth (Kramer) McDonald on July 8, 1949 in Granite City, Illinois.
He was married on October 26, 1976 to Elizabeth (Weldon) McDonald in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. They divorced on August 29, 1997. There were 2 children born to this union, Daniel Christopher and Jamie McDonald.
Per Dan's brother-in-law Gary he remembers Dan as a very talented athlete with a tremendous memory for sports statistics. He was a gifted athlete despite his small stature.
Dan worked for the Texas Rangers and Brunswick Bowling Corp.
While working he could name every player & rattle off their stats, without having to look at reference material.
Once while playing a round of golf, Dan parred a par 5 hole using a putter from tee to green. His sense of humor and delivery of funny material was unequaled in the family,
