James Robert "Jimmy" Henry, 75, of Kosciusko, MS passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Parkway Cemetery. Randy Rhodes and Dodd Lindsey will officiate.
Jimmy was born September 12, 1946 to John Robert "Bob" Henry and Marie Hailey Henry in Meridian, MS. He was married to Suzanne Strickland Henry for 38 years. Jimmy was the co-owner and operator of Henry Honda in Kosciusko, MS for 27 years.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Suzanne Henry; son Jay Henry of Flowood, MS; daughters Hailey Henry (Micah Dew), Michelle Henry Tubbs (Bond), and Robin Henry Willis; brother Dr. Chan (Babs) Henry; sister Betty Henry (Andy) Kyzer of Birmingham, AL; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Robert "Bob" Henry and Marie Hailey Henry.
Serving as pallbearers is Dodd Lindsey, Matt Cade, Neal Mosley, J. C. Tyler, Tip Hailey, Joe Munn, Paul Mink, Ronnie Henderson, and Brian Uchida.
