Patricia Patty' Ross Cook, was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She graduated from Morse HS in 1969 and received an Associate degree from San Diego City College. She worked for the County of San Diego in Social Services. She loved coffee, reading, Sci-Fi, murder mysteries, and gardening.
She married Michael Cook and had their daughter, Tamara. Patty became dedicated to her daughter and family. She was a team mom for many of the activities Tammy participated in. She even chose Tammy's husband Casey, at a wedding.
She was also known for her kind heart in seeing those in trouble by providing what she could, whether it was food or even a roof over their head. As a grandma, she would have garden tea parties in the backyard and sleepovers, and her grandchildren remember those days fondly. She loved her family so much she gave her all for them.
She was preceded in death by her mom, Enid Ross, and her sister, Barbara. She is survived by her daughter Tamara and husband Casey Lehman, their children Meghan Cook, Felisha, Serena, and Sean Lehman, and her three great-grandchildren Dante, Jack, and Aislin. I miss you already Mummy, Mumsical, Mumsi, Madre, Mama, Mum, Mommy.
A graveside service will be held on July 23, 2022, at 9:30am, Greenwood Cemetery, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113. A Celebration of Life will follow at Santee Mobile Estates Club House, 9459 Mission Gorge Road, Santee, CA 92071. Parking available across the street at Lowes.
