Thomas Charles Patterson, 85, passed away peacefully on June 23,2022.

Tom was born March 7, 1937, to Gerald and Dorothy Patterson, in Muskegon, Michigan. He was an honest man who championed the cause of the underdog. The second of four brothers, Tom served 22 years in the United States Air Force, including the conflict in Vietnam. After enlisting, his first tour sent him to England, where he met his lovely wife, Eileen, whom he cherished for 59 years. Tom enjoyed sailing, and he was an expert marksman. After years as an aircraft climate control specialist, Tom was a military aircraft connoisseur.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Richard and Bob.

He is survived by his brother, Gerry; his daughter, Sandra Tolleson, and her husband Randy; his son, David, and his wife Janet; his son, James, and his wife, Julie; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Daisy. Tom will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. En lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the North Richland Hills Animal Adoption & Rescue Center.
