Diana was born on September 28, 1951 to Dalton and Evelyn Maggard in Brawley, California.
In 1968, Diana met David Morris. They married on July 24, 1969. Diana and David went on to have 2 children, Sarah and Abigail. Diana was a loving wife and mother, taking pride in the care
she showed her family as the "CEO of her household." In addition to caring for her own children, she offered a welcoming refuge to many of her children's friends, neighbors, and those who
needed comfort and care.
Diana was known by friends and family as someone who loved to laugh, play games and share adventures in many travels throughout the United States. While Diana was a lifetime Californian at heart, she made warm and welcoming homes in North Texas and Missoula, Montana. No matter where she lived, Diana could be known for finding beautiful scenic drives, the best
places for shopping, and great places to eat.
Diana was a dedicated Jehovah's Witnesses for over 51 years. She shared her faith with others, enjoyed fellowship, and had a strong belief in the resurrection.
Diana was predeceased by her parents, Dalton and Evelyn. She is survived by her husband, David, her children and their families, Sarah, Dean, Jack and Emma Armstrong, and Abigail, James, Matilda, and Elinor Tiggeman-Morris. She is also survived by her siblings Rebecca Lancaster, Sharon Palmer, Robert Maggard, and Debra Ramsey.
While Alzheimer's took Diana away from us prematurely, she leaves a lifetime of unforgettable memories with her loved ones.
Services will be held via Zoom on July 16, 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Visiting Nurse Association of Texas and Alzheimer's Association, two groups that offered Diana and her family invaluable support during her illness.
