He was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga. He obtained his Associate of Applied Science Degree from Edmondson Junior College January 16, 1987. Dan was previously employed as a short order cook at Gulas Restaurant. He was a long time member of New Monumental Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lindsey Sr. and Mary Anne Lindsey; brother, Jerry Lebron Lindsey.
He leaves to cherish his memories, brothers, Robert Lindsey, Jr. of New Jersey, Geary Lindsey, of Louisiana, Andre Lindsey, of Arizona, Stephen Lindsey, of Oklahoma; uncles, Odis Jackson and Will Jackson and his wife, Pearletta; aunts, Leatha Jackson and Christine Lindsay; nieces, Jill Adkins and Felecia Bess; close friends, Mother Chris of Chattanooga, Sandy, of New Jersey, caring neighbors, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
