Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Gidget Pittman Tidwell of Valdosta, GA; sons, Michael Tidwell, Jr., Nicholas Edward Tidwell, and Jessie Tidwell - all of Valdosta, GA; grandson, Kaiden Cole Tidwell; sister, Tina Tidwell Munroe of Tallahassee, FL; brothers, Jimmy Tidwell (Laretha) of Ray City, GA, Dewayne Tidwell (Brandy) Owenboro, KY; and stepmother, Francis Tidwell of Hahira, GA.
