Mark G. Hoover, 53, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, son of Richard Weyandt and the late Susan Hoover. He was raised by his loving grandparents: Donald and Joan Hoover. He married Jodi A. Rupert in 2018.

Surviving are his wife of three years; two daughters: Markie and Marissa Hoover; two sons: James and Andrew, all of Altoona; a step-daughter, Mackenzie Bender of Summerhill; five grandchildren: Damian, Caven, James Jr., Drew, and Bella; his father of Martinsburg; six sisters: Justine Dunn, Holly Hamilton, Lisa Smith, Brenda Reasy, Shelley Corle, Betty Lamont; three brothers: Matt Kephart, Daniel Yingling, Rick Weyandt; a special aunt, Nancy Mock, and a special uncle, Donald Hoover Jr.

Mark graduated from Altoona Area High School and attended PSU Altoona and worked as a CAD Designer.

He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, good music, karaoke, and spending time with his family.
