Mary Jane retired from Forest Products Laboratory (FPL) in 1992, after working there for 36 years in Research Support Services. During her high school years, Mary Jane worked at the Majestic Theatre as an Usher.
Mary Jane enjoyed her retirement and kept very busy. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, gardening, bowling, golfing, doing crossword puzzles, pitching horseshoes, crocheting, knitting, traveling (enjoyed cruises) and playing Cribbage. She also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune. It was best to never call her while the show was on! Mary Jane was also an avid Packers fan and enjoyed NASCAR. Mary Jane spent quality time with her neighbors, playing cards (poker), watching Packer games, having potlucks and donut/coffee Thursdays.
Mary Jane is survived by her children, Dale (Lori) Klein of Fitchburg, WI, Kenneth (Jeannine) Klein of Oxford, WI and Valerie (Glen) Jakusz of Madison, WI. Mary Jane has eight grandchildren, Jason (Kim) Klein, Daniel (Andrea) Klein, Eric Klein, Kaitlyn Klein, Alyxandria Klein, Carl (Kiara) Klein, Patricia (Spencer) Grindle and Jamie Jakusz (Trevor); and five great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Troy, Calen, William and Johnathan. Mary Jane is further survived by her youngest brother, Howard Demro; and many nephews and nieces.
Mary Jane is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Glenford (Chic) Demro, Jr., Ronald Demro and sisters, Rose Marie Rossing, Shirley Demro (at birth). She is also preceded in death by Eugene Klein.
Burial will take place at Roselawn Cemetery in Madison.
