BRIAN ALLEN

Mr. Brian Glen Allen, 27, of Whitney went home to be with the Lord Saturday,
January 19, 2008, in New Mexico. He was born November 19, 1980, in Whitney,
son of Mike and Sharon Heath Allen, and graduated from Whitney High School
in 1999. He attended Hill College and graduated from Cleburne Fire Academy
in 2003. On May 12, 2001, he married Sarah Sullins in Whitney. He was
presently employed with L-3 Communications in Waco as a fireman and also
owned and operated Fireman's Lawn and Landscaping Business. He liked to hunt
and fish, loved to travel and was an avid animal lover. He was a member of
Whitney Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James
B. Heath; and great-grandmother, Nettie Heath. Survivors include: his wife,
Sarah; parents, Mike and Sharon Allen of Whitney; one daughter, Cassie Allen
of Whitney; one sister, Amy Hoffman and husband, Nick, of Lubbock;
grandparents, Glen and Lillian Allen of Hillsboro and Jewel Heath of
Whitney; parents-in-law, Randy and Gladys Sullins of Peoria; one
sister-in-law, Nicole Burkett and husband, David, of Peoria; one
brother-in-law, Clint Sullins stationed in Iraq; several aunts, uncles and
cousins; other relatives; and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2
p.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, at Whitney Church of Christ with Bruce Martin
officiating. Burial will be at Heath Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6
p.m. until 8 p.m. this evening (Thursday, January 24) at Marshall and
Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney. Memorials may be made to a memorial
fund for Cassie Allen, First National Bank, P. O. Box 547, Whitney, TX
76692.
