Debra Chilton Orr, 68, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, July 22, 2022, in Citty Funeral Home Chapel and burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham Co., she was a daughter of the late B. Frank and Margaret Brown Chilton and she had lived in Reidsville all of her life. She was a member of Sandy Cross Wesleyan Church and she was a homemaker. Debra enjoyed playing Bingo, watching NASCAR and The bold and the Beautiful. She loved to cook for others especially gravy and biscuits and she liked to sing "Happy Birthday", and to have a good time. Debra was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Virginia Gibson, a brother, B. Frank "Junior" Chilton Jr., a grandson, Colton Orr, and a favorite nephew, Cody Ratliff.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Orr of Reidsville, her daughter, Melissa Frick Hernandez of the home, her significant other, Ted Walts, brother, Gary Ray Chilton of Reidsville, sisters, Diane Chilton and Patricia Chilton both of Reidsville, grandchildren, Jessica (Michael Mata), Michael, Tyler, Dylan, Benji, Hunter, Jacob, and Payton, 6 great grandchildren, favorite Nieces, Debbie Ann, Robin, Lisa, Amanda, and Lorrie.
The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00PM Thursday, July 21, 2022, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times, they will be at the residence: 164 Lucy Lane Reidsville, NC 27320
