Eloise "Ella" C. Parker Chesapeake - Eloise Clark Parker "Mammaw", 91, formerly of Chesapeake went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 14, 2016. Born in South Norfolk, Eloise was predeceased by her husband and true love, Earl, her parents, Odessa and Charlie Clark, her siblings, Archie, Ruth, Neil, Lola, Wilma, and her grandson Tommy. Survivors include two sons Earl J. Parker Jr. (Anne) and Gary W. Parker Sr. (Winifred), both of Chesapeake. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Curtis, Starr, Amber, and Gary Jr. and 6 great grandchildren. She touched so many and gave us more than she knew. She was the most spiritual, positive and loving woman we have ever come to know. She was an excellent example of "rare". Her faith and principles in life are what will be remembered. Oh, and cupcakes; she loved her sweets. A true inspiration who we all aspire to be like one day. Mammaw wouldn't have us mourn; she would expect us to rejoice. She would say, "I am home." Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 1-2 PM at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 524 Cedar Rd. Chesapeake, VA. Service following next door at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens from 2-3 PM. For over 75 years Eloise was a member of Bethel Assembly of God. In lieu of flowers she wanted all donations to be sent to her church. Attn: Pastor Todd, Bethel Assembly of God, 938 Decatur St., Chesapeake VA 23324. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.hollomon-brown.com
