OBIT - Mrs. Levier, Piano Teacher, Dies at 80 --Emlenton -- Mrs. Genevieve Catherine Levier, 80, of Emlenton, well known in music circles in the Enlenton area for many years and a piano teacher in the area for more than 50 years, died early Tuesday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Klingler, with whom she made her home. Mrs. Levier, widow of Ray B. Levier, returned last Friday from a Florida vacation. She was born June 28, 1891, in Emlenton, a daughter of the late Conrad and Catherine Morrison Fleckenstein. Her husband, Ray B. Levier, of Emlentom, died in November 1962. Mrs. Levier was a member of the Emlenton United Methodist Church and a member of the church choir at the time of her death. She had served as prganist and chior director at the church for many years. Active in lodges and community affairs, she was a past noble grand of Lady Emlenton Rebekah Lodge 546, past matron of Chapter 426 of the Order of Eastern Star in Emlenton and a past master of the Richland Grange. At the time of her death she was on the board of the Rainbow Girls. She is survived by two sons, George Levier, of Upper Saddle River, N. J., and James Levier of Apollo; three daughters, Catherine Levier and Mrs. Jean Weller of Clarion, and Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Klingler of Emlenton; a brother, Harold Fleckenstein of Westfield, N. Y., and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call any time after 2 p.m. today at the Robert Criswell Funeral Home in Emlenton, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Robert Casler, pastor of Emlenton Unithed Methodist Church , officiating. Interment will be in the Emlenton Cemetery. The Order of Eastern Star will hold memerial service at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home and the Lady Emlenton Rebekah Lodge will hold a service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
