Richard Francis Maloney, 91, passed away with his loving wife, Ann, of 57 years at his side on July 14, 2022 in Fort Myers Florida. Richard was born in Newton, Massachusetts to Raymond and Marion (Corcoran) Maloney. He graduated from Boston College in 1952 and went on to serve in the U.S Navy active duty during the Korean War. He had a long career at United Car Fastener Corporation until his retirement. Richard was an avid golfer who played many years at Vesper Country Club and Andover Country Club Richard and Ann spent over 25 years on Anna Maria Island, Florida, a place they loved and had many friends.
Richard is survived by his son, John Maloney, and his wife, Marlene (Ricci), of Fort Myers , FL, his daughter Kimblery and husband Keith Kramer and grandchildren Madison Kramer, Nicholas Kramer and Sydney Kramer all of Fredericksburg, VA. He is predeceased in death by his brother Robert Maloney and twin sister, Sally Maloney.
There will be a funeral mass for Richard on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 10:30AM located at Church of the Resurrection 8121 Cypress Lake Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33919, burial will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens. 1589 Colonial Boulevard Fort Myers, FL 33907.
