Sandra Jo (Kroth) Guthrie, born March 29, 1948, in Oklahoma City to Henry and Jorene Kroth, passed quietly on July 15th, 2022.

Sandra leaves behind two children,

Deana Pierce (husband Rick) and Carl Guthrie (wife Teri) along with three grandchildren: Cameron Pierce (wife Megan), Kylie and Lindsey Guthrie, and great grandmother to Cameron's kids… Addison, Harleigh, Reagan, and baby Ryan. As well as her brother James Kroth (wife Lisa) and sons Brandon and Cole.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents Henry and Jorene Kroth.

Sandra was a caring daughter, granddaughter, sister, and mother in-law, but most importantly, a loving mother to Deana and Carl. She worked hard to give them everything she could! From working two jobs when times were hard, to being both mom and dad. She made sure she attended every school function and awards ceremony they were in, which was a lot, and you always knew exactly where she was because you could hear her Polaroid instant camera making noise as she took way too many pictures.

Deana and Carl attribute their family values and strong work ethic to their mom and say they will always see her bright happy smile when they think of her and feel blessed to have had such an amazing mom!

Sandra was also known as Granny by those she loved the most and went out of her way to create special bonds and memories with each. From singing boot scootin boogie and watching The Wizard of Oz with Cameron, to learning how to Skype so she could spend time with Kylie and Lindsey when they lived in CA and always telling them "Te amo"! (I love you!)

These priceless memories are sure to last a lifetime!

Sandra had many other cherished relationships, from her brother and sister in-law that she loved so much, to her lifelong friends and Capitol Hill classmates that were always just a phone call away… to her "cousin crew" that were all by her side until the very end. She was truly loved by so many!

Sandra had a great career at The City of Moore and the Cleveland County District Attorney's Office and even after retiring she kept in contact with her old coworkers and treasured those friendships.

Sandra loved family reunions at "the farm", country music (especially Garth Brooks), line dancing, OU football, and was very proud of her Capitol Hill roots and could often be seen wearing her class t-shirt and showing off her memorabilia.

But anyone that knew Sandra knew her most prized possession was her Santa Clause Collection that she kept proudly displayed all year round! She had recently moved into the Village on the Park and was thrilled to be featured on their Facebook page showcasing her Santa Clauses' and enjoyed the other members of the community dropping by to look at her collection.

We are all forever blessed to have loved and been loved by Sandra and in her favorite way to say goodbye…

Love you the most!
