Charlie was born August 10, 1944, he was one of seven children born to Charles and Alice White.
He was known to most people as "Charlie" but to his family he was Butch. Charlie had a wonderful life. He graduated from Vocational High School in 1962.
He served in the US Army in Viet Nam from 1967 to 1969 earning a bronze star. Although he didn't talk about it much, he was very proud of his service in the Army. He worked for Graco for about 20 years, and through mutual friends met the love of his life Margie.
Charlie took a leap of faith and married Margie and her 4 boys.
Graco asked Charlie to re-locate out of state. Being a newlywed with a new family, he said no and made another big decision to work for Foam Enterprises. Owners Dennis and Mindy became Charlie and Margie's closest friends. It was a good decision!
He worked for Foam Enterprises for 30 plus years when it was sold to BASF. Charlie continued with BASF until he retired in 2009. He was an awesome Sales Manager and made many lasting friendships all over the country.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was somewhat of a jokester and loved telling stories as if they really happened. Friends and family loved hearing his one liners never knowing if they were fact or fiction.
Margie had a bar made for him as a birthday gift. He proudly stood behind that bar entertaining family and friends. You were always welcome at Charlie and Margie's. Often you would be invited [or coerced] into a game or two of cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister's Joanne, Carol, Alice.
He is survived by wife, Margie of 39 years, 8 children, Jeff [Carrie], Terri, Stephanie, Kim [Casey] Michael [Sandy], Steven [Shayla], David [Tami], Patrick [Leah], 17 Grandchildren, Morgan, Jorden [Nick], Jason [Katie], Nicole [Alyssa], Ashley [Cory], Lauren, Sawyer, Bowen, Yves Mirline, Dylan [Lauren], Devon [Markie], Hailey, Jackson, Sophia, Chase, Cole, Cooper. 4 Great-Grandchildren, Kennedy, Everly, Bristol, Aria.
