Carrie A. Hensley of Pflugerville, Texas and formerly of Cuba, Missouri was born on June 1, 1936, in Marion, Illinois to the union of Alonzo and Mary (Klope) Hanks. She left from this life on Monday, July 18, 2022, at her daughter's home at the age of 86.

Carrie was united in marriage to Velmore Hensley on October 20, 1970, in Harrisburg, Illinois. To this union three children were born John Edward, Roscoe Gene and Connie.

Carrie was a homemaker, she enjoyed taking care of her home and family. She loved being and active member of Covenant Praise Church, reading, crossword puzzles, shopping and watching Days of Our Lives and Matlock.

Carrie is preceded in death by her parents; husband Velmore Hensley; one son Roscoe Gene Hensley; two step-granddaughters Kristen and Bethany Ferguson; eight siblings Fern Randall, Edith Little, Margaret Rushing, Gilbert, Lyman, Richard and Dale Hanks, Elsie Black.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home 904 W. Washington St. Cuba, Missouri.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, 12:00 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremiah Wilson, officiating.

Interment will follow at Mounts Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
