Betty Marie Bowman, 87, of Grafton, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Grafton City Hospital. She was born October 16, 1934 in Preston County daughter of the late Kenny and Berley Bolyard Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Bradford "Buck" Bowman.
She liked cooking, gardening, sharing her recipes with her children and grandchildren, she was always ready to lend a helping hand to others, loved being outdoors. Her greatest treasure was her family and she enjoyed every memory she made with each of them, her family was her greatest blessing.
Betty is survived by four children, James Harold Bowman (Barbara) Newburg, Caroline Colebank (Todd) Fellowsville, Bradford Bowman (Darlene)Grafton, Lee Anna Bowman (Dale) Westville, FL, six grandchildren, Chris Johnson, James Bowman, Ben Bowman, Brett Colebank, Tristen Bowman, Linsey Bowman, six great grandchildren Kayonna Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, Grace Johnson, Issac Johnson, Josie Bowman, Savannah Bowman, three sisters, Annamae Cline, Preston County, Rose Mary Winters, Fellowsville, Yvonne Colebank, Tunnelton, one brother, Vernon "Bud" Stone (Bertie), Newburg.
