Mrs. Oliver Jung, nee Ruby Grona of Fredericksburg passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2022 at the age of 93 years.
Ruby was born on May 19, 1929, in Fredericksburg, Texas to Alfred and Alma Grona. She married Oliver Jung on October 22, 1949.
Ruby is survived by three sons and three daughters: Ronnie and Diann Jung, David and Janet Jung, Sammy and Joi Jung, all of Fredericksburg, Brenda and Mark Barron of Austin, Judy Nehr of Fredericksburg, and Gail and Chris Montgomery of San Antonio, fourteen grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Alma Grona, husband Oliver, sister Theresa Kramer and brother Charlie Grona.
Services will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m, Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11 a.m.
Serving as pallbearers are grandsons Derek Jung, Cole Jung, Brandon Jung, Neil Jung, Oliver Barron and son-in-law Chris Montgomery. Honorary pall bearers are Nick Jung and Wire Nehr.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be given in her memory to St. Mary's School, Ave Maria Hospice or the charity of your choice.
