Robert "Bob" Moore, 90, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at his home in Nederland.

Bob was born in Galveston, Texas on March 13, 1932 to the late Hugh William Moore and Elouise Schilling Moore.

Bob was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church Nederland.

He served his country proudly in the United States Navy from 1951~1955 and was a Korean War Veteran. Bob was also a team member of the United States Navy Blue Angels from 1952~1954. He was a licensed pilot and an airframe and power plant aircraft mechanic.

Those left to cherish Bob's memory include his loving wife of 70 years, Lucy Moore of Nederland, Texas, his sons, Robert Wayne Moore of Brenham, Texas and Kevin Louis Moore of Nederland, Texas, his half-sister, Georgina of Deer Park, Texas, his grandchildren, Angela Bruce, Katherine Moore, Andrew Moore, Louis Moore, Syd Jennusa and Clay Jennusa and his great-grandchildren, Laynee Lydezma, Ethan Bruce, Lila Jennusa and Cade Jennusa.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh William Moore and Elouise Schilling Moore, his half-brother, Edward C. Mixon and his half-sister, Linda Mixon.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Nederland First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 10~11am with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service to begin at 11am. Reverend Dr. Jason Burden will officiate the service.

Interment will follow at the Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
