Obituary Tonya Denise Prather was born September 12th, 1966, to the union of Robert and Hortense Prather who preceded her in death. Tonya was educated in the Detroit Public School system. She accepted Christ at an early age. She rededicated her life to Christ and was baptized under the leadership of Bishop Alvin Dennis of Tree of Life in 2010 Lincoln Ne. She met the love of her life Winston in 1990 which led to their union years later. In 2006 Tonya and Winston moved to Lincoln Nebraska to start a new life with their family. She loved being around her family and enjoying music. She was a really good cook the family loved her lasagna. You would always see a smile on her face. Tonya was a caring person and good listener. She found out YouTube had shows on how to cook different foods. And that's where she took off trying foods with her family. Tonya leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Winston, her children Kris, Gwen, Donika(Ken),Tyrone (Seranna),Megan, Mecca(Mike), Marcus, Markeita, Marquis Markel , sisters Michelle and Sean, Sebrina and Julanda who preceded her in death, brothers Dewayne and William, one Aunt Donna Jean, 7 grandkids and a host of nieces nephews and family and friends.
