Patty Martin, 84, of Shelburn, passed away on Thursday June 30, 2022, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on October 10, 1937, in Sullivan County to Robert McCracken and Anna (McDaniel) McCracken. She was a 1955 graduate of Sullivan High School, and had gone to Indiana Business College. Patty had retired from WTHI in the accounting department. Patty loved to cook for family, was a member of the Eastern Stars, loved to go bowling and was an avid Cardinal fan. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray, a brother Francis McCracken, sisters, Mary and Marjorie McCracken.
Survivors include her sons Bill (Cheryl) Martin, Pat (Lori) Martin, Bob (Tammy Sue) Martin, a daughter Liz (Ken)Trimble, 13 grandchildren 23 great-grandchildren, and several other family members.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 16, 2022 at Holmes Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow at Little Flock Cemetery.
