Linda Sue Lafferty, 77, of Orange, Texas died Sunday, July 17, 2022 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Channelview, Texas and has lived in Orange for the past 8 years.
She retired from Channelview ISD as a tax accessor. Linda was a member of 1442 Church of Christ in Orange. She loved quilting, gardening, going to her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
Funeral services for Linda will be Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 10am at 1442 Church of Christ in Orange, Texas Texas.
Interment will be in Houston National Cemetery ~ time to be set at a later time.
She is survived by her children Scott and wife Jennifer Durbin of Orange, Robert Lafferty, Barbara Lafferty, Chuck Lafferty, Bill Lafferty and John Lafferty, siblings Larry Battenfield, Earl Battenfield, Edmond Battenfield, and Judy Price, 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Lafferty.
