John Moore

Mr. John Henry Moore was born August 15, 1939, in Meridian, MS; to George and Jessie Levata Moore. He was the only boy of seven children.

He confessed a belief in Christ at an early age and joined the Church of God in Meridian, MS.

John grew up on a farm near Marion, MS; where, as the only son, he learned all the tasks necessary for a farmer. This would help him in his future career.
