PEARLIE MAE McCOY

Pearlie Mae McCoy, daughter of the late Earl N. Overbey and Lydia Mae Riggle Overbey, was born May 21, 1923, in Vigo County, Ind., and died in the St. Elizabeth's Hospital at Lafayette, Ind., on Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at the age of 84.

Mrs. McCoy was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Vincennes, Ind., a former line supervisor for R.C.A. and a resident of Lafayette, Ind.

She was united in marriage to Earl E. McCoy on May 14, 1939, at Advance. Mr. McCoy preceded her in death on June 20, 1984.

Survivors include three sons, Earl E. McCoy, Jr., of Lafayette, Ind., Kenneth D. McCoy of Indianapolis, Ind., and Jerry L. McCoy of Shelburn, Ind.; one daughter, Phyllis Quinton of Vincennes, Ind.; two brothers, Floyd Lynn Overbey of Vincennes, Ind., and Herman Elmer Overbey of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister, Edna R. Collins of Vincennes, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sue Welborn officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
