He was born June 6, 1935.
Paul was predeceased by his parents, John F. Newman and Gladys Trull Littlehale; his partner of 30 years, Marie Curtis; a brother, Joseph Newman; and brothers-in-law Bunk Edgecomb, Harry Moore and Fred Owenby.
He is survived by his sisters, Ellen Owenby of North Carolina, Mary Luna and husband Jessie of Idaho, Laura Jacobs and husband Eddie of Hope, Joan Harvey and husband Steve of Searsmont, Jean Gould and husband Peter of Belfast, Nancy Edgecomb of Searsmont; and brothers John Newman and wife Linda of Livermoore, Peter Newman of Searsport; as well as several nieces and nephews.
