MIRIAM D. FLORES, 82, of Upper Darby, died Saturday morning at 3:45 in Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Drexel Hill.
She was the widow of Carl C. Flores, who died in 1962.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Franklin K. and Margaret (Schick) Dick.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Upper Darby.
Flores retired in 1971 after 29 years as a teacher at various elelmentary schools in the Upper Darby School District.
She graduated in 1919 from Reading High School and received a bachelor or arts degree in 1923 from Brown University. Flores earned a master of arts degree in 1950 at the University of Pennsylvania.
She is survived by a son, Richard W., of Plainwell, Mich., and a daughter, Margaret F. Fallon, Norwalk, Conn.
Also five grandchildren and five great-grandsons.
