Cindy Sarratt Owen of Attalla passed away March 6, 2014.
Cindy was born June 24, 1957, to Gordon and Garnita Sarratt. She was the youngest of six children. Memorial services will be held today, March 8, 2014, at Ivalee Baptist Church at 1 p.m. The Revs. Ronnie Holmes and Whitt Hibbs will officiate. On-site cremation provided by Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory.
Cindy was married to James Owen for 33 years. They had one child, Stephen Siemens; and four granddaughters. Cindy was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Cindy was preceded in death by her mother; father; brothers, Tyrone and Bill; and nephews, Brandon Yaikow and Jody Norris.
Cindy is survived by husband, James; son, Stephen (April); granddaughters, Hailey (Caleb) Browning, Stephanie, Lexi and Audree Siemens; brother, Jim (Glenda) Sarratt; sisters, Cathy Sarratt and Jo (Bobby) Norris; sister-in-law, Sharon Sarratt; nephew, Josh Yaikow; and four beautiful nieces and their families. Also many family and friends who loved her dearly.
