Cynthia Anne "Cindy" Wilhite, age 63, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Cindy was born October 19, 1958 in Port Arthur, TX.
Cindy graduated from Sulphur High School and McNeese State University. She loved all Sulphur sports but especially softball.

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Walsh and Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Wilhite.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Bill and Imelda Wilhite; brother, Kenneth Joseph Wilhite of Greenville, TX; brother, Stanley James Wilhite (Cindy Sue) of Cannon Falls, MN; nieces and nephews, Amy Higgins (Leigh), Brittany Donovan (Josh), Magen Pierce (Zach), Reid Pierce, Noah, Luke, and Rory Donovan; Alice James Higgins, and Jordan and Jessica Miller; and Cindy's fur baby, Hershey.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday July 18, 2022 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home and will resume at 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church in Carlyss. Rev. Luke Krzanowski, M.S. will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
