She was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing bridge, and Mahjong. In her professional career, she worked her way up from a Chase Bank teller on Staten Island, NY, to Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank's Marketing Division in Manhattan, NY.
She was an alumna of Merrimack College.
She was the quintessential organizer of efforts that ranged from serving as the president of her NC Property Owners Association, to running the elimination round transportation for several PGA and LPGA championship tournaments.
She is survived by Donald Jones, her husband of 25+ years, her sister Mary Rossi (George), her brother Michael Trainor, her brother-in-law Charlie (Linda), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The funeral service and Mass will be held at 2:00pm, on Friday, July 22 at the Roberts Funeral Home, West Chapel, 6241SW State Road 200, Ocala, FL 34476. A reception will follow, with directions provided at the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
