Marsha Louise Armstrong, 74, of Clyde died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, in a Clyde nursing home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022, at Bailey Howard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Hooper officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Monday before the service.

Marsha was born December 16, 1947, in Gorman to Billy Wayne and Wilma Ruth (Hallmark) Cagle. She graduated from Eastland High School and married Pat Armstrong in Morton Valley on September 5, 1964. They moved to Clyde from Abilene in 1973. Marsha was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Pat Armstrong of Clyde; son, Michael Armstrong and wife Diana of Waco; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Armstrong of Abilene; two brothers, David Cagle of Clyde and Jack Cagle of Conroe; sister, Nita Hooper and husband Larry of Clyde; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Patrick Armstrong, Jr. and one great grandchild.
