Mary Alice was born August 28, 1950, to Eddie and Marie McDonald, she was the youngest of 6 children. Mary Alice departed this earthly life on July 12, 2022.
Mary Alice joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Pass Christian at a very young age and stayed a faithful and giving member since joining.
Mary Alice attended Randolph High School in Pass Christian where she received her diploma. She worked at the Miramar Lodge Nursing Home for 13 years, Hotel Reed for 7 years and retired from Memorial Hospital after 23 years working as a Rehabilitation Technician.
Mary Alice enjoyed cooking, singing and spending time with friends and family. She loved going to church and being a part of the usher ministry. She loved to help her church family out in any way she could. Although she loved flowers, her green thumb wouldn't work in her favor, no matter how hard she tried.
Mary Alice is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Leona Kersey, Marilyn Dedeaux and Audrey Easterlin. Two brothers, Norman Ray and Eddie McDonald. A granddaughter Ilyssa Carpenter; a brother-in-law Ausker Dedeaux, Sr., and two nieces Gisele Dedeaux and Sherri McDonald.
Mary Alice leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and caring son Gary McDonald; a loving and caring daughter Sonia McDonald, both of Pass Christian, MS. Four beautiful grandchildren Taylor McDonald of Gulfport, MS; Kerra McDonald and Isaiah McDonald of Pass Christian, MS and Elijah McDonald of Fort Eustis, VA. Her grand pup Bronze Lee McDonald. A God-sister Charlene Smith, special cousins (like brothers) Eugene Dedeaux and Eric Forest. Her really close and special friends Linda Bradley, Edith Harrion, Chi Vo, Willye Hall, Belinda Fields and Catherine Price. A host of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
