Mrs. Patricia Mae Venable, 83, of Scottsboro, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital.
Patty enjoyed a wonderful childhood in Pawling, NY. After graduating high school, she enlisted in the Air Force and that is where she met her husband, Harsh "Gene" Venable. Gene's family welcome her with open arms. She became a beloved member of the Venable family.
Mrs. Venable got to live in many beautiful locations, including Japan and Hawaii, with her growing family, they finally settled in the wonderful town of Scottsboro, Alabama. She raised her children with the greatest love and affection. For the last several years, Mrs. Venable was a member of Hillside Baptist Church of Scottsboro.
She is survived by her sons, Brian Venable (Sheila), Kevin Venable (Rebecca); daughter, Gail Chapman (Loyd); grandchildren, Whitney Phillips (Chris), Bryant Venable (Erica), Nathan Parrish (Haley), Brittany Wells (Jeremy), eleven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, whom she loved like they were her own brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 16th, from 5 ~ 8 P.M., at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday July 17th, at 2 P.M., at Rudder Funeral Home Chapel, Scottsboro, AL.
