He was born August 15, 1920 in West Frankfort, IL to Charles and Nellie May (Gant) Ritchason. He was a retired truck driver working for Allied Truck Lines for many years.
Charles is survived by his brother: Ralph and Eva Ritchason ; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Elvis, George, Odie, and Robert Ritchason ; and a sister, Faye Nichols. His wish was to be cremated.
