Mary loved her experiences that the military life of 35 years afforded her. It opened the door for her love of travel. She and her husband, LTC Billy J. Howard were able to travel the world and explore many beaches along the way.
Mary was a strong woman of faith and as a member of Lawrenceville First Baptist Church she enjoyed serving her church community prior to her illness.
Mary is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, her two brothers Billy and Jasper Breakfield, her son and daughter-in-love Kevin and Lynn Howard, her son-in-law Carl Lewis, four grandchildren Ginny Lewis, Christy Lewis, Megan Howard Witrick, Nicholas Howard, and her three great granddaughters Jillian Lewis, Emily Witrick, and Leila Witrick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her three sisters Shirley Faye Deckard, Betty Sue Miller, Brenda Helen Stewart, and her loving daughter Donna Kaye Howard Lewis.
Mary will be remembered as a bright shining light with a feisty strong will and a love for laughter.
Visitation and Funeral will take place Sunday July 17, 2022, at Wages & Sons Funeral Home; 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, Ga., 30046. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 pm followed immediately by the Funeral.
