MANSON _ Lois M. McKellip, 79, Manson, died Saturday, March 28, 1992, in Central Washington Hospital, following a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 13, 1912, in Spokane, the daughter of Cecil and Luetta (Cook) Bowen. She spent her early years in Spokane before moving to Seattle with her family. She graduated from Lincoln High School and earned a degree in nursing from Swedish Hospital in Seattle.
She married Marion ''Mac'' McKellips on Jan. 16, 1937, in Seattle. She followed her career in nursing until she and her husband moved to Manson in 1971.
Mrs. McKellip was a member of the Manson United Methodist Church; Manson Grange; Washington State Nurses Association; and the Swedish Hospital Nurses Alumni Association.
Survivors include her husband, at the home; one daughter, Edythe Brownfield, Manson; one brother, Russell Bowen, Edmonds; a sister, Phyllis White, Wilsonville, Ore.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
