He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War. He retired from Fuller Company and Simpson Paper. Don was a member or The Word of Life Church of Christ and played in the Detroit Tigers Minor League. Don had a laugh that was contagious. Nothing was more important to Don than his family.
Don was preceded in death by his wife Tommie (Hipskind) Clark, brothers: Harry and Chuck, sisters: Betty, Maxine and Margaret.
Don is survived by his children: Thomas & Cindy Clark of Lake City, FL, Kathy Clark & Mike Milroy of East Grand Rapids, David Clark of Kalamazoo, Judy & Eric Trautmann of Rockford, IL, Cheryl Clark & Jeff Berg of Kalamazoo, Christine & Eric Wimbley of Kalamazoo and Daughter in law: Kay Clark of Kalamazoo, Grandchildren: J.T., Jessica, Casey, Brianne, Ashley, Kyle, Alex, Marc, Lydia, Paige, Regan, Seth and Maiya, several Great Grandchildren and Nieces & Nephews.
Burial has taken place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Centricacare Navigators (formerly Hospice of S.W. Michigan).
