Madalyn (Keechle) Dutcher, 82 of Waverly, Ohio passed on to her heavenly home on April 10, 2018 at Adena Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born July 21, 1935 to the late John and Hilda Keechle.

Madalyn was a 1953 graduate of Waverly High School. On November, 19th 1953 she married her high school sweetheart Jerry Dutcher who precedes her in death after 61 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death is a son, Jeff Dutcher.

Surviving are two sons, John (Ginny) Dutcher and Jim (Donna) Dutcher. Five grandchildren, Lori Dutcher (Todd Shoemaker) , Aimee Bolin (Jason) , Amanda Dutcher (Kent Shanks), Wesley Dutcher and Jami Dutcher (Jason Morton) and 6 great -grandchildren who were the center of her world: Haydn Shanks, Olivia Cisco, Jamison Morton, Hadlee Cisco, Nev Bolin and Brelynn Dutcher. Also surviving are her sisters Juanita Bryant and Marian Saunders, many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
She retired from the Community Action Committee in 1998 after many years of dedication to the families and children of Head Start. Madalyn was an advocate for organ and tissue donation.

A celebration of life is planned for April 22, 2018 at the All About Children Daycare, 77 Havens Lane, Waverly at 2:00-5:00 p.m. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly.
