Carl Allen Cloninger (Greensboro, North Carolina) passed away at the age of 87, on July 10, 2022.
He was predeceased by : his father Allen Cloninger; his wife Nellie Jane Cloninger (Johnson); his daughter Alma Baynes; his granddaughter April Huffman; his son-in-law Eric Englestad; and his siblings, Ola Collie, Earl Cloninger, Ray Cloninger and LJ Collie.
He is survived by : his children, Joseph Cloninger of Greensboro, Donna Englestad of Julian, Lesha Huffman (Scott) of Burlington, Carla Eastridge (Tommy) of Greensboro and Melinda Rush (Odell) of Archdale; and his siblings, Martha Yarboro of Randleman, Gaynell Nunn (Richard) of Greensboro, Rose Lunsford of Wilkesboro and James Cloninger of Franklinville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 16th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Gilmore Memorial Park (6500 Liberty Rd, Julian, NC 27283). Triad Cremations served the family.
However, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the US Department of Veterans Affairs or the charity of your choice.
