Mary Lanore Stuber, 86, of Peru, IN passed away at 12:55 PM on her birthday, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Miller's Merry Manor, Peru, IN.

Mary was born in Cayuga, IN on the July 6, 1936, the daughter of Gerald and Mildred Elzena (Thatcher) Allee.

She shared her life with her companion Richard Kenneth Court for 25 years and he preceded her in 2008.

Mary worked for Lutheran Hospital as the Housekeeping Supervisor, retiring after 25 years and was a member of the VFW Post 857.

Mary is survived by son Michael Johnson and his wife Lynnell, daughter Kathryn Fry and her husband Harold, stepdaughter Beatrice Swank and her husband Buzz; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great-grandchildren who she loved very much. Mary loved being a grandmother more than anything and was loved so dearly.

In addition to her companion Richard Court, Mary was preceded by her parents, son Gerald Johnson and three brothers.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Lindenwood Cemetery in Ft. Wayne, IN.
