Margaret Ashley Booth January 23, 1967 – September 17, 2017 Ashley grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated from Homewood High School. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi on a swimming scholarship and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. She spent many years in fitness and sports marketing, and more recently worked as a paralegal for a law firm in Alabaster, AL. She was an avid tennis player, triathlete, and animal lover. She was a lifelong member of All Saints Episcopal Church and many volunteer organizations. She was predeceased by her father, Charles H. Booth, Jr, her maternal grandparents William and Sue Ashley, and her paternal grandparents C. H. and Dolores Booth. She is survived by her mother, Adelaide Ashley Booth, sister, Ellen Ross Booth Boyd, and brother-in-law, Allen Boyd of New Orleans. She is also survived by many loving cousins, aunts, and uncles. She will be missed by many good friends. Visitation for Ashley will be from 1 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20 with service at 2 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 110 Hawthorne Road, Homewood, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Shelby County Humane Society, All Saints Episcopal Church, or your favorite charity.
