John Alexander Kennedy, 91, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, a former long-time Klamath Falls resident, died Tuesday in Coeur d'Alene.
Mr. Kennedy was born in Rib Lake, Wisconsin, to Daniel B. and Mary Teresa McDonald Kennedy.
He and his wife, the former Azita Stears, were married in Montana. She preceded him in death in 1967.
Mr. Kennedy was affiliated with Weyerhaeuser Co. for many years before his retirement.
After the death of his wife, he moved to Coeur d'Alene to be with his family.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Klamath Falls and St. Thomas Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene. He was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus and a member of the Coeur d'Alene Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Fowler, Coeur d'Alene; niece and nephews, Mary, Chuck and Jerry Stears, all Butte, Mont., cousins, Alan McRae, Ontario, Canada, and C.B. Williams, Coeur d'Alene.
