TUSSY Graveside services for Bruce Cross, Tulsa, 53, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Tussy Cemetery with Rev. Carl Taylor officiating.

Born on Oct. 2, 1954, in Wynnewood, Okla. to Richard and Mary Jawana Wheeler Cross, he passed from this life on Jan. 22, 2008, in Tulsa. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Bruce Cross; and his mother.

Raised and educated in Maysville, Altus and Oklahoma City, he served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war, and on Sept. 26, 1989, married Doris Lorine Dial in Coolidge, Ariz. He worked as a truck driver, auto mechanic and supervisor at the Oklahoma Galvanizing Plant. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, riding Harley motorcycles and was an avid Sooner fan.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Joe Walter Ronsley, Las Vegas; adopted son, Ethan Dale Dickson; daughter, Shawna Marie Wylie and her husband, Johnathon, Adair; his father, Richard Cross; sister, Stephanie Dickson and her husband, Mike, Ardmore; mother-in-law, Mary Lorene Hardesty; four grandchildren, Caleb Wellbourn, Michael Cross, Cheyenne Wylie and Kayla Wylie; numerous nieces and nephews in Ardmore, Tulsa and New York.

Wooster Funeral Home will direct services.
