Mary Dibblee served overseas in World War II. After returning from Europe after the war, she married Roy Stroh in 1945. The couple lived in Conestogo, Ontario.

Mary was the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by her parents George and Caroline Dibblee, sister Maud, brothers Robert and Allan, and grandson Luke.
