She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Owen Kirk, Sr., her daughters Mary Sue Kirk (Stan) Bolden, Anne Marie Kirk (Bob) Hentz, and her son Kenneth Owen (Katie) Kirk, Jr.
Grandchildren include Susan Hentz, Caroline Bolden (Patrick) McCormic, Patrick (Carly) Hentz, Elizabeth Hentz, James and David Kirk.
The family of Mrs. Kirk will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Ridout's Valley Chapel Funeral Home in Homewood, AL. We invite those who knew her and her family to Trinity United Methodist Church on Thursday, Sept. 26, for a memorial service at 11:00 am. The church is located on Oxmoor Road in Homewood. After the service, all are invited for a time of sharing in the main parlor of the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to charity of your choice.
