Services for Mildred Price Daniels Cruse will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. in Beulah Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Mrs. Cruse, 82, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Robeson County, N.C. November 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Jefferson Wheeler Price and Jeanette Barfield Price. She was the retired owner of Church's Fried Chicken and attended Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Daniels (Pat) and Michael "David" Daniels, both of Hamer; daughter, Janet Dufrene (Frank) of Slidell, Louisiana; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Paulette Small (Wayne) of Dillon; sisters in law, Cathy Price and Joan Price.
Mrs. Cruse was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cruse; brothers, J.W. Price, and John Price, and her sister, Margaret Berry.
